Hotel and Eco-Housing in Mielnho

Between the Baltic Sea and Lake Jammo, as if it were a giant flourishing tree, we have designed a hotel with a patio and a spa, and a touristic housing complex with crossed ventilation.  The building spins around its vertical axis to ensure the best views and sunlight for all the apartments.  An extreme control of the LCA results in the use of “cradle to cradle” materials that allow us to design an eco-intelligent building with healthy indoor environments avoiding toxic or allergenic elements.  The buildings function strictly on renewable energies: geothermal, wind pipes for the WHS and Heating systems.  Photovoltaic panels, vertical wind tunnel generators and bio-mass boilers fuelled by the building´s own waste, provide electric energy.  A close management of the water resources is done by filtering and reusing sewage waters.
